Nurse Unit Manager – Rehabilitation Unit | Forster

• Leading a clinical team in delivering safe, timely, patient-focused care to ensure optimal outcomes for all stakeholders;
• Creating and maintaining an environment that fosters best practices and continuous improvement;
• Developing strong working relationships with physicians and VMOs;
• Maintaining effective resource management and developing and monitoring efficiency strategies to achieve organizational goals.

 CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic;
• Demonstrated effective management and leadership skills;
• Contemporary knowledge of best practice in inpatient rehabilitation and nursing care;
• Be highly accountable and demonstrate a strong, supportive, and engaging style;
• Be passionate about rehabilitation and achieving high-quality clinical outcomes;
• Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and work well with interdisciplinary staff
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills;
• Proficient computer skills;
• Financial and business management experience and/or a Health management qualification (desirable);
• Health management qualification and/or experience in a nursing management role (desirable);
• Experience with AROC and SNAP systems (desirable).
