ROLE OVERVIEW
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs. Imperative to your success in this role will be delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Leading the Perioperative team to ensure the effective operation of the hospital;
- Delivering hospital outcomes in clinical aspects, quality improvement, administration, and leadership;
- Effectively managing labour and consumable costs;
- Ensuring compliance with the Infection Prevention & Control Program and NSQHS Standards;
- Supporting the GM/ DON and ADON with human, physical, and financial resources and quality activities;
- Ensuring educational opportunities for staff and completion of the same.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
You will have:
- Registration with AHPRA;
- Solid experience in a comparable role within a Theatre / Perioperative setting;
- Experience with Quality Improvement activities, Infection Control Management, and Accreditation processes
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
- A true commitment to delivering high-quality patient care;
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar;
- You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care, and adding value to Australian healthcare;
- You will be an energetic leader with proven experience in operational and people management.

REMUNERATION
$130k p.a + $5k relocation assistance if required.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
Situated in Deakin, this hospital offers specialised surgical services and outstanding amenities. These include 4 state-of-the-art operating theaters, a day surgery recovery area, and 38 beds for extended post-operative care, each equipped with its own private ensuite, comprising 32 individual rooms. Additionally, the hospital provides inpatient and day rehabilitation services to aid recovery from surgeries and medical conditions, complete with an onsite gymnasium. Diagnostic services, encompassing pathology, ultrasound, and radiology, as well as pharmacy services, are also available.
