Exciting opportunities are now available for experienced Registered Nurses seeking a challenge in the surgical and medical wards. These include Orthopaedics and Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Colorectal, Cardiac Services, Medical, Haematology, and Oncology at a private hospital in Adelaide. Numerous positions are offered, providing a fantastic chance to advance your career in a dynamic healthcare environment.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team;
- Delivering evidence-based and quality clinical nursing care;
- Liaising with management, key stakeholders, and all staff;
- Supporting management and embracing change and new initiatives positively;
- Providing exceptional pre- and post-operative nursing care in accordance with national standards;
- Working effectively in a team environment while managing own time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA Registration;
- South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance;
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse;
- Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures;
- Ability to manage risk;
- Sound knowledge of Perioperative standards;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills;
- Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands.
REMUNERATION
Salaries range between $31.07-$53.49 per hour.

Located in Adelaide, this private not-for-profit hospital features 230 beds and offers a comprehensive range of specialties, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity care, oncology, orthopaedics, urology, and vascular surgery. The facility is equipped with 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, a fully staffed emergency department, maternity services, and a 24-bed Level 3 Critical Care Unit.
