Exciting opportunities have emerged for motivated and highly adept Registered Nurses to join the Theatres team. Numerous permanent part-time positions are open for fixed days Mondays and Fridays.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the successful candidate, you will possess:
- Current AHPRA registration;
- At least 2 years of experience in Cathlab;
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
- Demonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations, and standards.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Orange, is a 57-bed facility that provides a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and psychiatric services. The hospital has 5 Operating Theatres. Apart from general medical and surgical beds, there are 17 licensed rehabilitation beds and a 13-bed mental health unit.
