A remarkable opportunity is on the horizon for a deeply motivated Registered Nurse to take the lead in the exciting CCU team at a private hospital located in Melbourne. This can be either a full-time, or part-time permanent role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role consists of clinical aptitude, dynamic planning, and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide high-quality service and care to the patients.
Your position as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager will encompass, but is not limited to:
- Accountability for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources;
- Being a positive mentor and providing clinical leadership and support to your team;
- Assisting in shaping organisational strategy, improving procedural service provision, and achieving departmental and hospital strategic objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills, leadership qualities, and previous experience in a leadership role.
- Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skill set in a hospital setting;
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including night duty is essential.

REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $57.76 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Melbourne is a 126-bed facility with operating theatres, a cardiac catheter lab, inpatient wards, and a day oncology center. Plans allow for the continuing development of the site to continue to grow and meet the health care requirements of the expanding community. The CCU is located in Heath Ward, and it includes a 31-bed ward with 6 dedicated CCU beds and 4 dedicated sleep study beds.
