Registered Nurse – Acute Medical | Melbourne

Outstanding prospects await dedicated Registered Nurses with prior experience who wish to become part of the team at an Acute Medical Unit within a private hospital located in Melbourne. Numerous permanent positions are open, including both full-time and part-time options.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Providing evidence-based nursing care;
• Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, Enrolled Nurses, and Assistants in Nursing to deliver excellent patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Registration with AHPRA ;
• At least 2 years of nursing experience;
• Working with Children check;
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Ability to work well independently and within a team;
• Basic computer skills.

REMUNERATION

A salary ranges between $35.33 and $47.25 per hour, based on your years of relevant nursing experience.

The Hospital, located in Melbourne, is a fully accredited tertiary facility with over 250 beds, providing Emergency Services, Intensive Care, and Cardiac Services, including two twenty-four-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. The Hospital has 13 theatres, which offer a broad range of specialties, including Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Urology, Laparoscopic, Colorectal, Vascular, and General Surgery and 2 dedicated endoscopy units.
