Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout | Toowoomba

A thrilling opportunity awaits a proactive and enthusiastic Scrub Scout Registered Nurse to become a valued team member at a private hospital in Toowoomba. It is a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity.

Your duties will involve:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
• Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse;
• At least 12 months experience as a Scrub Scout;
• Focus, on delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care;
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to work independently of others;
• A postgraduate perioperative certificate is desirable.
