New opportunities are available for dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join the ICU service team at a private hospital in Sydney. Full-time and part-time positions are open, involving a 24/7 rotating roster.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team, benefiting from access to cutting-edge equipment, educational support, and professional development opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate a commitment to quality care and the best patient outcomes, as well as demonstrate the following:
- Current registration with APHRA;
- At least 1 year of ICU hospital experience;
- Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team;
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development;
- Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system;
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.

The hospital, located south-east of Sydney, is an acute facility with 7 operating theatres, 2 Catheter Laboratories, a renowned Maternity Unit and Level 2 Intensive Care (ICU) and Coronary Care Units (CCU). The hospital specializes in complex Orthopaedic Trauma, Urology, Colorectal, Plastic, Bariatric, Gynaecology, General and Dental surgical procedures.
