Registered Nurses – Rehabilitation | Port Macquarie

As a Registered Nurse, you will be:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
• Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• At least 1 year of post-graduate nursing experience;
• Previous experience in a Rehabilitation setting is desired though not essential;
• Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including nights and weekends;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.

REMUNERATION

$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. 

The hospital, located in Port Macquarie, is a 72-bed acute Medical/Surgical and Rehab facility with 6 Renal Chairs and a Day Surgery complex. Comprehensive Medical/Surgical services are offered with 24-hour Medical Officer Support, including Orthopaedics, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Bariatric and Vascular, Plastic & Ophthalmology.
