Registered Nurses – Scrub Scout | Port Macquarie

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide the patients with dedicated and specialised care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating care to suit each patient’s individual needs. You will be reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager and working alongside a supportive team.

• Current and relevant registration with APHRA;
• Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting;
• Minimum 2 years of Scrub/Scout nursing experience essential;
• Any postgraduate perioperative qualifications will be well-regarded;
• Excellent understanding of infection control principles.

The hospital, located in Port Macquarie, is a 72-bed acute Medical/Surgical and Rehab facility with 6 Renal Chairs and a Day Surgery complex. Comprehensive Medical/Surgical services are offered with 24-hour Medical Officer Support, including Orthopaedics, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Bariatric and Vascular, Plastic & Ophthalmology.
